Pre-Christmas competition at Royston Golf Club

The light-hearted three clubs and a putter competition at Royston Golf Club held in the run up to Christmas was won by the team composed of Mick Merry, Ted Prestbury, Paul Lewis and Jim Gerahty with 87 points.

Second place with 83 points were John Ellis, Clive Middlemass, Adam Dyer and Graham Toby.

The seniors’ Friday league this week was won by Ray Sammons with 35 points.

Jim Hopkins was second on count-back from David Marsh and Dave Rowell.
