ANOTHER improved team performance saw Royston share the points with Bedford Town.

In a well-contested game Bedford took the lead with a deflected short corner midway through the first half.

Despite falling behind Royston continued to press and equalised through a Chris Watson goal before the break.

Bedford started the second half brighter but were unable to break down a strong Royston defence.

Royston after overcoming the initial Bedford pressure enjoyed a high percentage of the ball, but were unable to convert this into goal scoring opportunities.
