MELDRETH Bowls Club is looking for new members to join its friendly mixed club.

Novices and experienced bowlers are welcome at the club and guests are asked to wear flat-soled shoes with the club able to provide other equipment.

The club has a variety of events planned for the next few months, and these include an recruitment drive for new members on April 26 at 2pm, open days every Tuesday morning from May 5 until September 1 for visitors to speak to club members and play some bowls, a fete on June 6 which will include bowls and lots of games, and a hog roast on July 18.
