Royston Tennis Club’s annual tournament took place on Friday, November 29 for the weekday morning adult players.

In a very exciting competition, there was only four points between the top four teams. Karin Lambert and Mike James just beat Peter Goodbody and Kathryn Robinson to take the new Christine Knight Trophies.

In the Cambs Winter League, the men’s veteran team of Matt Leveridge, Ian Musgrove, Tony Woods and Steve Gibson lost 8-0 away to Red Lodge I then won 6-2 at home to David Lloyd III with Nathan O’Looney replacing Gibson.

The mixed team of Annabel Barratt, Chris Piggott, Christine Knight and Richard Fosbeary beat St Neots I away 7-1
