FRAN HAWKEN won the Mixed Granta Rummer Trophy at Heydon Grange Golf Clun at the weekend.

The competition involved competitors, men and women, selecting just three clubs to go around the course with, along with a putter, rather than the usual 14.

And it was Franken who chose wisely and led the way with an excellent stableford score of 39 points.

Helen Leigh was runner-up with 38 points as the ladies put the men to shame as leading man, Graham Handscombe, could only manage 34 points.
