Golf: Flemming takes annual trophy

Alan Flemming was triumphant in Heydon Grange Venerables annual strokeplay competition, played on the Essex and Cambs courses off white tees.

Alan’s net 70 proved enough to beat the 75 of runner up Barry Jackson, who beat Dave Sephton, also on 75, on countback.
