Heydon Grange Golf Club ladies competed for the Spring Meeting Trophy on Saturday.

Eleven ladies played an 18-hole stableford over Essex and Cambs courses. The winner was Gay Rodham with 39 points, Linda Williams was second and Sue Slater third. Wendy Osborne won nearest the pin and Anne Peers won longest drive.

On Sunday the men competed for the Lakeside Trophy.There was a good turn out for this 18-hole stableford, 3/4 handicap played on Essex and Cambs courses.

The winner with 38 points was Ray Charles. John Rodham was runner up and John Black came third.
