Strong first half showing sets Green on their way to victory

Symonds Green 4 Manuden 2

Symonds Green continued their revival after last week’s county cup victory with another convincing win.

Manuden started well scoring the first goal, but Symonds came back with four goals of their own in a 15 minute spell before half time.

Max, Jay (two) and Harrison scored the goals but they were helped by their teammates in a good first half performance.

Manuden grabbed a second in the second half, but Symonds held on for a deserved victory with the midfield duo of George and Marley a joy to watch and Charlie putting in a commanding display in defence.
