ROYSTON Town have been crowned Spartan South Midlands Division One champions. The Crows claimed the trophy in style last night with a 5-2 win away to Winslow United with Craig Hammond (four) and Ryan Lockett getting on the scoresheet. The win means Roysto

ROYSTON Town have been crowned Spartan South Midlands Division One champions.

The Crows claimed the trophy in style last night with a 5-2 win away to Winslow United with Craig Hammond (four) and Ryan Lockett getting on the scoresheet.

The win means Royston are now 14 points ahead of second-placed Kings Langley with just four games to play.

It is the ninth game this season that Royston have scored five goals or more and their goal difference now reads a remarkable plus 96 from 36 games.
