Royston Celtic U10s picked up their first point of the season with a 1-1 draw in an entertaining match against Melbourn Dynamos.

Melbourn took the lead early on after an attack down the right and they would have extended the lead had it not been for some excellent saves from Celtic ‘keeper Kai Pendlebury.

Reece Mixon missed a penalty for Celtic before half time and despite hanging on for dear life after the interval – they grabbed an equaliser through Josh Fitt who slotted home from close range.

Jack Atkins nearly snatched a winner late on for Celtic but in the end they had to settle for a draw.
