BASSINGBOURN Reds began strongly and scored two early goals through Jonah Steckley and Josh Haigh before Shefford scored on the break to make it 2-1 at half time.

An exciting second half followed with the Blues making it 2-2 before three late goals from Ben Sams and Joe Failletiaz (two) made it 5-2 to Bassingbourn.

BASSINGBOURN Whites maintained their 100 per cent start to the season thanks to a strong defensive display and two well taken first half goals from Andy Jones and Charlie Alsop.
