A STRONG Knebworth team came to Royston expecting to walk away with three points but it was not to be.

The teams were evenly matched with good end to end football. On the half hour a Tom Fisk cross found Will Dickerson who toed it in at the back post.

The second goal came just before the half time whistle when a well taken Ryan Waller corner was flicked on by Connell to Dickerson who knocked it in.

The third goal came midway through the second half when a strong run from Dickerson found Dion Jones to head the ball home.

Good defending from the back four and some superb goalkeeping from Lee Cooper kept the opposition at bay.

The final goal came in the dying seconds when good link-up play between Tom Higton and Dickerson saw Dickerson get his hat-trick.
