THE under-14 Knights from Division Four caused a major upset in their League Cup match against Symonds Green.
Division Two side Green, who narrowly missed promotion to the top flight last season, and went into the game boasting a 100 percent winning record this season.
The Knights rocked the home side after 15 minutes when former Charlton Athletic trainee Axel Morris opened the scoring for Baldock.
The home side fought back to level the scores at the break. In the second half the Knights again took the lead with Jack Fidock scoring an unbelievable volleyed goal. Again the home side equalised before Jack Fidock added his second of the game, which proved to be the winning goal and give the Knights a famous 3-2 victory.
Top scorer Josh Camborne-Paynter helped himself to another hat-trick in the under-13 Templars win over Fairlands Youth. Alex Canter was also on target twice, and with Joe Parker also finding the net, the Templars ran out convincing 6-1 winners.
However, two goals from Alec McGuire and one from Lewis Worcester could not prevent the under-13 Lancers suffering a 5-3 defeat at Thaxted Rangers.
The under-10 Templars who are becoming the draw specialists of Division A did it again in their match against Broadhall A as a Lewis Archer goal helped earn them a point in a 1-1 scoreline.
The under-10 Crusaders remain runaway leaders of Division B following their 5-0 win over Broadhall B. Charlie Briggs was on target twice, with Christopher Birkett, Hayden Mabert and Nicholas Allin also on target.
The under-10 Knights and Lancers had mixed fortunes in their games with Stotfold.
The Knights suffered a 4-3 defeat at the hands of Stotfold A despite goals from George Hewitt, Kieran Rayner and Harry Waters.
The Lancers fared much better as two goals from Kier Boyd together with goals from Adam Wright and Lewis Copsey gave them a 4-0 victory over Stofold B.
The under-11 Templars slipped to a 4-2 defeat at the hands of Royston Town, with George Higginson and Matthew Judges scoring for the hosts.
The under-11 Lancers produced one of the best results of the day as they beat Division Four high flyers Bishop's Stortford Rovers 3-2.
The under-12 Templars had to settle for a point in their game with Austen Arrowheads, with two goals from Tom Gornall making the final score 2-2.
The under-12 Crusaders kept their Division Three promotion hopes very much alive as goals from Richard Ainscough, Reece Timms and Jake Chapman helped secure a 3-1 win at Bishop's Stortford Athletic.
The under-12 Knights suffered a day to forget against Hitchin Town, with a Chris Mutter goal being their only consolation in an 8-1 defeat.
Two goals from James Graham and a Tyron Saunders strike gave the under-14 Templars another three points and helped them climb the Division One table, with a 3-0 victory over Arlesey Town.
A weakened under-14 Crusaders side gave promotion hopefuls Wymondley Park Wanderers a scare before finally losing 2-1. Mitchell Tredgett scored Crusaders' consolation goal.
A Chris Brooking penalty was the under-15 Crusaders only consolation as they were beaten 3-1 at St Neots.
The under-16 Crusaders never looked back after top scorer Josh Furness opened the scoring in the first minute at Elsenham, and went on to take all three points with a 5-3 victory. Josh Furness completed his hat-trick, while goals from James King and Alex Caple completed the scoring.
