ROYSTON Ladies returned to league action on Sunday afternoon and in the rain found themselves trailing after 20 minutes.

Royston then took command but they had to wait until the 70th minute before they claimed an equaliser from Emma Chaffey direct from a corner.

Five minutes later Chaffey scored again to put Royston in front.

The third goal came from Marie Miller and the final goal came from Leanne Buchanan in injury time when she converted a Chaffey corner.

This Sunday, Royston Ladies are back at Garden Walk when they meet Barking in the second qualifying round of the FA Women's Cup.
