Under-12s Division Four

ELSENHAM probably started this match better than Letchworth with Alex West and Bertie Alabaster's pace giving the hosts' defence plenty to worry about.

However, it was Letchworth who scored first when a long shot slipped through Dan Keating's hands and legs into the goal.

Elsenham started the second half on the attack but Harry Clark missed a good opportunity and James Yeadon hit fresh air when he should have scored.

Letchworth then punished the visitors by scoring twice more themselves.

With eight minutes left Charlie Lynch got one back with a looping shot and Ben Clark got the final touch to score a second as Elsenham pushed forward with five minutes still to go.

It wasn't to be and Letchworth sealed the victory with another goal late on.
