Royston Town Youth Eagles U11s 8

Haslingfield Colts U11s 1

Royston Town Youth Eagles U11s recorded an almost as impressive result with an 8-1 win at home to Haslingfield Colts on Saturday.

Winger Jack Davis was in awesome form throughout and hit three good goals with the lively Daniel Baulk and hard-working Billy Hall scoring a brace each.

Unselfish work from Will Tucker up front and a solid midfield effort from Luke Warner were instrumental in a lot of Royston’s good play and George Turner bossed the back line brilliantly, ably assisted by Callum Leake, Stephen Standing and Lewis Poulter, while Lewis Wood did a good job in goal.

Hall was awarded Man of the Match for his positive attitude, two quality goals and all-round match performance.
