Royston Town Youth Under 9 A team met their match against a strong London Maccabi Lions team in the semi-final of the Herts County Cup.

The visitors took the lead early in the first half with a soft goal and Royston were then forced to chase the game.

The Lions extended their lead in the second half with a well taken goal and when Royston finally sparked into life they got one back with a well taken free kick from Max Logan and all the team pushed forward to get the equaliser.

Unfortunately time was against them and Royston's valiant cup run was over.
