Win over Pin Green seals third round tie against Bassingbourn

FC Comets progressed through the second round of the League Cup with a comfortable 10-2 win over Pin Green Juniors.

It was a solid team performance with a hat-trick from Jack Shipp on his return from injury and a brace from man-of-the-match Daniel Stephenson.

An encouraging spread of goals were scored across the whole team including others from Codi Spavins, Sam Kester, Ben Philipson and Alex Diop.

The team now face Bassingbourn Youth in the third round.
