Bishop's Stortford Athletic 6 Bassingbourn Youth 1

Under-11s Division Two

BASSINGBOURN began brightly with Olly Johnson putting in some good runs down the right wing, one of which led to the opening goal by Matthew Tiffin.

Good defensive work by James Ashton and Tom Harrington ensured that Bourn went into half time with their lead intact, yet Bourn's second half malaise stuck once again and Bishop's Stortford soon equalised and then quickly took the lead.

Further goals gave the hosts a deserved victory but the final scoreline was harsh on Bourn.
