Reed Cricket Club will be looking to mirror their heroics of five years ago as they head to the home of cricket to compete in the Watson’s National Village Cup at the weekend – where they are set to take on the defending champions.

Players, officials, friends, family and all those associated with Royston Cricket Club have been busy celebrating a deserved double success after the first and second team were promoted for the second successive season.

Chris Jackson signed off in style to help Reed to victory over Chorleywood on the last day of the Saracens Herts League season.

Knebworth Park earned the bragging rights over Hitchin in a Saracens Herts League Division Two A derby at Lucas Lane to maintain a 14-point lead over Ickleford at the top of the table.
