AROUND 70 members of Royston Bowling Club gathered at the British Legion hall to attended their annual Dinner Dance

After consuming a well presented and tasty meal they were ready for some entertainment supplied by vocalist/guitarist Cliff Jones.

During the proceedings club president Will Martin gave a short speech in which he thanked Don Sheriff and his team for their superb organisation of this event.

He also thanked everyone for giving him their support over the summer season, and remarked on the success of their tour.

He reminded the members of their commitment to his charity during the year, and then invited Andy Floate, the representative from M.A.G.P.A.S., to join him on the stage, where he was pleased to present him with a cheque for £2,161.
