BARKWAY Park Seniors - The Barkers - have recorded a resounding 6-0 win against Panshanger in their first match of the friendly season.

On Sunday Barkway held their monthly medal and the winner of the gold section was Julian Wase with Gerry Eady second and Kevin Streeting third.

The silver section winner was Kevin Lacey who hit a nett level par of 74. Peter Francis was second and Richard Apperley third.

The ladies of Barkway also had their monthly medal and Pauline Freeman was irst on 75 while Judy Clark was two shots back on 77.
