THE fourth and final match in the Royston and District Angling Club News Winter League took place on Saturday jointly with Rugby Cement Angling Club, at the Home Farm at Little Walden, Essex. The results were as follows: Andrea Wright and Chris Rule tied

THE fourth and final match in the Royston and District Angling Club News Winter League took place on Saturday jointly with Rugby Cement Angling Club, at the Home Farm at Little Walden, Essex.

The results were as follows: Andrea Wright and Chris Rule tied for first place with 24lb 8oz, while George Joyce finished third with 11lb and John King came fourth with 9lb.

King won the league with 40 points, five points clear of Alan Gypps. Mick Rivers, George Joyce and Andrea Wright tied for third place with 32 points.

The next match will be the Gordon Thomas Memorial Match, on May 7.
