THE Royston and District Angling Club annual charity match, including the ladies match, will take place at Thriplow Reservoir on Saturday. The draw will be at 2pm and fishing will be from 3-7pm. There will be no bank draw but there will be a £5 entry fe

THE Royston and District Angling Club annual charity match, including the ladies' match, will take place at Thriplow Reservoir on Saturday.

The draw will be at 2pm and fishing will be from 3-7pm. There will be no bank draw but there will be a £5 entry fee and a raffle will be held.

Anyone wishing to participate, or who would like any further information, should ring Mick Rivers on 01223 870189.

The club held its annual presentation night at Foxton Village Hall, with the following anglers picking up prizes: Chris Rule - Evening League, Evening League Highest Aggregate weight and Pairs Cup; John King - Winter League and Best Perch Cup; Brian Newman - President's Cup and Pairs Cup; Andrea Wright - President's Cup runner-up; Kelvin Stanford - Gordon Thomas Memorial Cup and Officers Cup; Alan Gypps - The Fur and Feather Cup and the Mad March Hare Cup; James Porter - Junior Trophy; Tom Porter - Under 12s Trophy; Ryan Stubbings - The Carp Cup and the Best Fish Cup.
