Royston Town will head to one of non-league football's most famous names on day one of the new Southern League Premier Division Central season.

AFC Telford United built up a reputation as a giantkiller through the 1980s and 90s and they host the Crows first following their relegation from the National League North.

Royston's first home game follows a week later with Bromsgrove Sporting on August 12 and that is followed by a visit in midweek from Stamford.

Newly-promoted Long Eaton United are the next away trip on August 19 before the bank holiday weekend brings a busy August to a close, Coalville Town at home and then neighbours Hitchin Town at Top Field on the Monday.

Those two fixtures are then reversed either side of Christmas, Royston going to Coalville on December 23 before the Canaries head to Garden Walk on Boxing Day.

The first game of 2024 sends the Crows to Leiston with the return back in Hertfordshire on Easter Monday.

The Easter Saturday match is away to Stamford.

Joint managers Steve Castle and Chris Watters will then see their side finish the season at home to Stratford Town on April 27.
