THIS must stop.

I have just witnessed a monstrous lorry, at least 30ft, parked half in the road and half on the pavement, in Melbourn Street, Royston, in such a position that it must have driven over the top of the Royston Cave.

I shudder to think what damage is being done to Royston's precious heritage, and it will only get worse if this practice is allowed to continue.

The council must act now to put a stop to it.
