The club's recent meeting was Easter social evening when throw-a-dice and a chocolate eating game was played.

The winners in a Make an Easter card competition were Mary Lawrence, Pauline Jones, Carol Thorogood, Phyllis Harradine and Sue Walters.

Birthday cards and wishes went to Phyllis Harradine, Eileen Goddard and Pam Keating.

In the evening's raffle, winners were Brenda Breedon (pot of plants); Marion Smith (basket of fruit); Marion Wells (Easter egg); Val Brown (chocolate); Sally Mawditt (bottle of wine); Pauline Jones (voucher); Jan Fraser (Turkish Delight): Shirley Pawson (chocolate Easter bunny) and Jan Brookes (chocolate Easter bunny).

The next meeting on May 8 will be a social evening.
