THIS week a photograph that has been loaned to Crow Nostalgia comes from the Second World War.

Although it may be difficult to identify the people in the picture, at least the location may remind someone of the war-time years.

As can be seen a woman is having a conversation with an American serviceman in a pub, which Crow Nostalgia is told, is in the area.

Of course, during the Second World War US servicemen were based at both Bassingbourn and Steeple Morden.

If you have any idea about the pub then call Crow Nostalgia on 01763 245241 or e-mail editor@royston-crow.co.uk
