MAY I again thank everyone who contributed to making my recent charity golf day such a success?

The event took place at Barkway Park Golf Club and raised more than £2,000 for my two charities.

My special thanks go to Barkway Park Golf Club for being such excellent hosts, Tony Hunter, Fiona Hill and Bill Davidson for their hard work in organising the day and the organisations and individuals for their donations, sponsorship and prizes. (see panel)

Without the support of these generous people the Mayor's Charity Golf Day would not continue to be such a successful fund-raising event.

My sincere thanks to everyone involved.

Councillor PETER LILL

Royston Town Mayor
