If he hasn't already taken his skis to the dump, he can offer them to more than 430 members of the Royston Freecyle Network at groups.yahoo.com/ group/roystonrecyecle

No money changes hands and unwanted items that are too good to be thrown away can be offered (or items requested) by individuals or community groups.
