Fowlmere School's Writing Club take a look at their latest edition

Hold the front page! Children are going to press this month with the second edition of their school newspaper.

The pupils from Fowlmere Primary School’s writing club will be releasing the latest edition of The Fowlmere Times before the Christmas holidays.

Teacher Sarah Toule, who runs the writing club with teaching assistant Janis Anderson, said: “We started the newspaper to help encourage the children in their writing.

“They oversee the whole process from the start to finish, writing the articles, taking pictures and putting the paper together. They then distribute it around the school.

“It’s nice they have a result of their work which they can show everyone.”
