Where to watch The Women’s Tour’s fourth stage in Welwyn Garden City and Hertfordshire

Nearly 100 of the world’s top female cyclists will be riding through Hertfordshire today (Saturday), with an exciting finish scheduled for Welwyn Garden City this afternoon.

Thousands of spectators are expected to line the route for Stage Four of The Women’s Tour.

The field will depart from the Broxbourne Borough Council offices in Cheshunt at around 11.30am, after the lead cars have departed.

The race is expected to finish in Parkway, Welwyn Garden City, at around 2pm.

A convoy of vehicles will be travelling in front of and behind the pack of cyclists.

The race will arrive in North Herts from Buntingford along the A507, arriving in Baldock town centre at around 1pm.

The peloton then makes its way to Baldock High Street, where the race moves into the first Sprint Stage from outside Baldock Library.

The second Sprint Stage takes place outside The Bell Motel, in Codicote, on the B656 around 1.35pm.

Cyclists are expected to enter Welwyn village from 1.40pm before climbing Digswell Hill.

They will take a left up Brockswood Lane, then wind round The Campus, a semi-circle at the heart of the town centre, before hitting the finishing straight on Parkway at around 1.50pm.

Organisers have advised spectators to arrive early to secure a spot along the route, with large crowds expected at the finish line.
