The fair runs from midday until 4.30pm, and will see the usual variety of stalls and attractions packing Priory Memorial Gardens.
Local dance, drama and martial art schools will be giving displays, while there will also be children’s fairground rides, miniature train rides, and a bungee trampoline.
Hot and cold food and beverages will be on sale, while Royston Town Band and the Opus 17 swing band will be on hand to provide live music.
In the Civic Centre car park, a wide array of vintage vehicles, including cars and motorbikes, will be on display in the Historic Vehicles show, which starts at 11.30am.
The fair will also include the now traditional dog show, with registration taking place at 12.30pm and judging from 1.30pm, there are seven categories including a dress up challenge for the handler who looks most like their dog. Entry is £1 per category.
