Three people are said to have been taken to hospital after a two-car crash on the A505 between Baldock and Royston.

Three people have been taken to hospital after a two-car crash on the A505 between Baldock and Royston this evening.

The crash is understood to have occurred near to the Odsey turning, with traffic being diverted through the hamlet and Ashwell.

Firefighters from Royston and Letchworth & Baldock stations were alerted just after 5pm, and said via their @hertsfrscontrol Twitter feed that three people had been injured and taken to hospital by the ambulance service.

The nature of their injuries is not clear at this time.
