THE time has come to reveal the Top of the Tots 2005 results for best boy and girl under 18 months. A total of 47 tots entered the competition with Alex Knight, of Melbourn, and Kelli-Jay Cooper, of Royston, receiving the most votes. Alex Knight, 19 months, is described as a live-wire who is very funny and always happy. Emma Knight, Alex's mother, said: "I think it's lovely and it's the first competition he's entered." Alex's sister, Charlotte, six, took part in the same competition two years ago. Mrs Knight said: "I like having my children's photos taken, they are nice memories." Kelli-Jay Cooper's parents, Lisa Saggs and Michael Cooper, were thrilled to hear Kelli-Jay, 14 months, had won. They said: "We couldn't believe it, it was a really big surprise." Top of the Tots is the first photographic competition Kelli-Jay has been entered into and one which they said they would take part in again. "Kelli-Jay is a happy little girl. She's just started walking so she's into everything and she loves the Teletubbies," they said. Each winner received a framed photograph. - The winner of the Top of the Tots aged 18 months to 5 years will be revealed shortly.
