Thunder, lightning and heavy rain hit Crow country yesterday as a storm swept across the area.

Torrential downpours struck yesterday afternoon, causing flooding across Royston, with areas including Garden Walk left under water.

Melbourn Street was completely flooded, with the water unable to run clear due to blocked drains. Crow reader Glen Stanway captured the picture above.

The storm also caused a power cut in South Cambridgeshire, with villages including Abington Pigotts affected.
