LEAPFROGS pre-school is situated within Hormead Primary School in Great Hormead, near Buntingford. It is a small pre-school for children from two-four. The school can cater for up to 16 children in a warm, welcoming and well-maintained environment which is decorated with their artwork displays. There is also an enclosed garden area and children have use of the school hall. There are an exciting and varied range of activities throughout the sessions, and children benefit from the staff's warm and caring relationships with them. Wendy McKee said: "Staff can interact with individual pupils because it's so small" Staff also develop positive partnerships with parents to support children's progress in learning. The pre-school has recently introduced a lunch club for children, too, on Mondays and Wednesdays, from midday to 12.55pm. The pre-school is open Mondays and Wednesdays from 9am-12.55pm and Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9am-midday. For further details call 01763 289201.
