A SCHOOL in Buntingford has received an outstanding Ofsted report.

When inspectors visited Millfield School and nursery in February, the care, guidance and support for the pupils was seen as outstanding.

So was the pupils attitude, behaviour and spiritual, moral, social, personal and cultural development.

David Jones, the lead HMI inspector for Herts, said: "They are enthusiastic learners with a real thirst for knowledge."

Headteacher Debra Blizzard said she was "proud" of the Ofsted report which "reflects the dedication and commitment" of staff, parents and governors.
