Royston man due in crown court charged with possession of large torch

A man has been charged with four offences including possession of an offensive weapon.

Richard Kenyon, 39, of Western Avenue in Royston, was arrested on Norton Way South, Letchworth GC on May 8. He has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon, a large torch, failing to stop for police, driving carelessly and resisting arrest.

He has been conditionally bailed until May 30 when he will appear St Albans Crown Court.
