A GRAFFITI vandal who has caused £5,000 damage in Buntingford has been identified by police.

The vandal, who is under 17, has disfigured property in the town since the beginning of the last school holidays, using the tag Sanchez.

Pc Allan Fisher said: "The person will be arrested.

"We are going to put a stop to it because once one person starts, others start.

"We are likely to have a 100 per cent detection rate with regards to this because at the end of the day the offenders are leaving their signatures.
