Two members of the Kelly Westgate Dance Academy have been selected to appear in the Christmas pantomime at Cambridge Arts Theatre.

Maddison Blows, 10, and her dance partner Kayleigh Mayo, 12, were chosen from more than 140 applicants to join the 10 "panto babes" in Jack and the Beanstalk.

Dave Blows, Maddison's father, said: "Both girls had to audition three times to get their places, so we're really pleased for them."

The girls are both trained in a number of dance disciplines, including hip hop and ballet, and have graduated to championship level. Performances of Jack and the Beanstalk begin on December 5.
