A FARMERS market will not take place in Royston during November.

Royston town council's finance committee was told at its meeting on Monday that markets manager Emma Burgess would be taking charge of the monthly market as of December, and that the hand over process means the November event has had to be cancelled.

The next farmers market will be held on Sunday, December 6.
