A MOTORCYCLIST was injured in a collision in Royston.

The incident took place on Old North Road, at the roundabout outside Tesco, yesterday (Sunday June 21) afternnon.

East of England Ambulance Service were called at 12:28pm, and a crew from Royston were at the roundabout within three minutes. They found the motorcyclist had been knocked off his bike after a collision with a car.

The man, who is believed to be in his 50's, was taken to the Lister hospital in Stevenage with minor injuries.
