Number plates have been stolen off a vehicle in a Melbourn street.

Police are investigating the incident, where both the front and rear number plates were removed from a parked vehicle in Saxon Way.

A police spokeswoman said: “We have received a report of stolen front and rear number plates in Saxon Way, the theft is believed to have taken place between 5pm on Monday, and 9am yesterday.”

Anyone with information regarding this incident should call Cambs police on 101, or through www.cambs.police.uk/report/Report.
