A van has collided with a tree today (Wednesday).

The incident happened at around midday on the A505 between Baldock and Royston.

Police, ambulance and fire services attended the scene and the nearside lane was blocked.

The man, in his 30s, was taken to Lister Hospital with minor injuries.

The near side lane of the dual-carriageway was closed while the vehicle was recovered and remains so while oil is cleared off the road.

  • To be fair.... the van didn't collide with the tree.... the van hit the tree. The tree was static. I wish the man well though.
