There are long delays on the M11 this evening back to the Duxford junction for the A505 after a car crashed into the central reservation near Saffron Walden.

One lane was closed in both directions of the motorway near Junction 9 for Saffron Walden following a barrier collision just before 4pm, but both lanes have now reopened.

Highways England says there are still long delays, with tailbacks still reaching beyond Junction 10 for Duxford.

Traffic is reported to be worse on the southbound side, with Highways England tweeting that it will affect motorists travelling to Stansted Airport.
