A lane has been closed after a lorry overturned.

Emergency services were called to the A505 at around 1pm today (Tuesday) after a lorry jack-knifed while travelling from the Royston direction towards Baldock.

The lorry crashed into the embankment near to the first turning for Ashwell, but the driver escaped with slight injuries.

A lane has been closed while the vehicle is recovered.
