A Letchworth man who went missing from Stevenage yesterday morning has now been found safe and well.

Officers located Andrew McGuinn, 53, in Hitchin this morning. It had been thought that he may have travelled to Cambridge.

He had been last seen in Stevenage shortly before 5.30am yesterday, with a public appeal issued by police last night.

A Herts police spokeswoman said the force would like to thank members of the public and media for their help spreading the appeal.
