A lane was closed for almost two hours following a crash last night (Wednesday).

A lane on the A505 Baldock Bypass was closed for almost two hours following a crash between three cars.

Emergency services were called to attend the scene at around 5.15pm following a collision between a silver Jaguar, a beige Volvo and a white Fiat on the A505 near Ashwell.

All three vehicles were recovered and the road re-opened at around 7.15pm.

Two people were taken to Lister Hospital to be treated for injuries.
