The murder trial of Ian Stewart, accused of killing Royston author Helen Bailey, is set to continue tomorrow morning after a two-day delay caused by the defendant’s illness.

Mr Stewart is accused of smothering Ms Bailey and dumping her body in a cesspit beneath their home in Baldock Road.

The trial is scheduled to resume at St Albans Crown Court tomorrow at 10.30am.
